Social Media Manager

Support the Marketing Director in ensuring that all activity runs smoothly and profitably with planned and scalable growth based on targets.

Define and execute our social media sites marketing strategy including coloration between offline and online + hashtag management as well as the microsite (HUB) education, text and image content + videos.

To maximize natural social referral to education.

The role will have responsibility for:

Social activity and analytics tracking
Written and creative content
Banner, landing page and content optimisation
Technology partners and agencies
Consistently delivering accurate site content and systems in a timely manner; meeting the requests of internal stakeholders
Other responsibilities:

Usability UX - Using Analytics to improve and drive conversion rates across websites. A/B testing and/or funneling to drive maximum conversion for registration and attendance
Responsibility for all company social sites, social systems, social content and social campaigns across you tube, twitter, Facebook, and all other social sites under management
Responsibility for all Social and Promotional calendars: Forex, Commodities, Indices
Responsibility to increase total number of followers and re-tweets/shares
Responsibility to increase the level of registration, attendance and course sales
Responsibility for all Content Feeds (editorial, iconography and technical)
Work with our local offices and internal stakeholders to maximise the businesses offering
Responsibility for social media blogging tools – Sales Force and Marketing Cloud
Responsibility for scheduling microsites and blogs creative and editorial (including briefing). Including logged in and logged out (side wall banners, central banners, backgrounds and iconography
Execution of tech feeds to the microsite/blog/Social Responsibility for team Reporting and P&L Reporting
Work with our local offices and internal stakeholders to maximise the businesses offering
Continually look to improve the briefing processes
Oversee the content upload process and co-ordinate with call centre so all online comments are responded too positively
Oversee social media spend, campaigns and promotions
Oversee blog/microsite spend, campaigns and promotions
Continually look to improve the creative briefing processes
Execution of blog/microsite spend, campaigns and promotions
Oversee promotions and Social CMS
Oversee bespoke editorial requests produced by the team
Desired skills and experience:  

Previous online editorial and management experience (3 years +)
Experience of managing and developing one or more personnel
Experience of implementing, managing and maintaining content/social management systems
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with internal teams
Good understanding of web analytics; adept at implementing analytics code, running reports and optimisation the media/content for revenue
Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
Passion for the end-user/customer focused
A demonstrated knowledge of HTML, website structures and a solid understanding of customer journeys
A keen interest, passion and understanding of social and financial media (blogs, forums etc,)
Very strong communications skills – able to write clear, engaging copy. Excellent written skills and command of grammar and the English language
Strong organisational skills and experience of balancing multiple projects at once
Experience of successfully working in the financial/broking/gaming sectors would be advantageous, however cross-transferable sector experience would be considered if there is good interest and engagement to this sector.
