Head of Sales (Energy Sector)

Salary: Circa £70k base salary + bonus + benefits - with flexibility

Our client is part of one of the world's leading companies in the provision of energy services for greater energy efficiency in buildings – especially in apartment buildings and commercial properties. The business helps property managers, home owners and tenants all over the world to meter, visualise, bill and manage individual energy and water consumption.

The Requirement 

An experienced strategic Head of UK Sales to:

Secure and improve existing customer relationships
Ensure cross selling of adjacent services and additional products to customers
Gain and constantly update market knowledge, hand over information about new business
Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge about services and create (new) customer-oriented solutions
Create customer development plans/marketing plans
Lead on tendering processes
Cultivate potential oriented sales culture
Enter and update sales reports based on meetings with Sales Team and customers
Help coordinate flow of information to operations (installation, maintenance, reading)

Experience Needed

Must have significant Sales Manager/possibly Sales Director experience within the Energy industry  
Must have experience of selling products/ or services into the building industry i.e. to architects, other specifiers, housebuilders and developers
Experience of selling in software services to Local Authorities and Housing Associations would be of real interest.
Excellent communication & people management skills
Opportunistic and self motivated
Willingness to travel
Good level of English language skills (both written and spoken)
