Our client is a division of a UK based multi-million turnover organisation who design and manufacture a wide range of top performance, state-of-the-art hardware components for the World’s most specialist applications in science, medicine and industry.
The division has identified the requirement for a Technical Sales Director, a new addition to their senior team. The Technical Sales Director will be an ambitious and credible individual with a technical background within a science/engineering discipline.
The post holder will work closely with the MD, working commercially to build the division. Contributing to the strategic business decision making processes, the TSD will provide high level input towards the annual budget.
The successful candidate will have developed their career in the commercial world. They will be responsible for nurturing relationships with existing clients and identifying opportunities within the market for new customer relationships, identifying key points of contact and decision makers, establishing long term relationships and ensuring the business is at the forefront when product suppliers are being considered.
Furthermore, the TSD will represent the Company at external events and trade shows internationally, showcasing the capabilities of the Company and of the Group.
