Salary: In the region of £100,000 plus performance related bonus
Our client is a well-established company and one of the largest providers of employment based training to industries including automotive, engineering and logistics across the UK. After many years of successful and profitable trading the company has ambitious plans for growth and is well placed to capitalise on positive commercial conditions that are anticipated.
We are looking for a hands-on Sales Director to join a stable and experience Board of Directors to lead the strategic development of the business and, by leading through personal example, setting and delivering ambitious but achievable sales targets.
As you’d expect with a role of this seniority, tasks will include:
- Retaining and developing existing major accounts
- Identifying and winning new clients
- Leading business development and internal sales teams
In addition to the detailed and hands-on process of sales and sales management you will be expected to make a significant strategic input at board level as it moves towards a trade sale or MBO.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable track record in setting ambitious sales targets and achieving them through personal and team activity. If you can demonstrate consistent success in sales and sales management in a service sector and believe that this experience can be applied to this opportunity then we’d be delighted to hear from you.
