SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
 
The Senior Project Manager will manage large multi-million-pound commercial fit-out projects for blue chip clients. Working closely with a wider team, the Senior Project Manager will ensure contracts are delivered safely on programme and on budget. They are responsible for liaising with the client and design team to ensure the contract is delivered to the satisfaction of all parties. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing, planning and delivering large, complex commercial fit-out projects
  • Promote and deliver technical excellence throughout all activity
  • Building strong relations and ensuring effective communication with clients, sub-contractors and colleagues
  • Preparing construction programmes, giving detailed progress reports, and ensuring relevant information is recorded accurately
  • Ensuring all aspects of the build process are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest possible standards
  • Have a thorough understanding of the costs and benefits from using current best practice in construction
  • Managing staff and sub-contractors to always ensure the highest standard of workmanship

 SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a related subject
  • Proven experience of working in a similar Project Management role in the construction industry
  • Prior experience of delivering large, complex, multi-million-pound commercial fit out projects
  • Experience in selecting appropriate building construction methods and best practice
  • Experience in managing commercial relationships with the private sector
  • In depth knowledge of relevant Health and Safety requirements
