The business, now valued at over £1bn, has enjoyed a significant period of growth and has almost doubled in headcount in the past 2 years, now roughly 550 people strong. The company has formed partnerships with other Global leading technology companies, and continued significant growth is expected. As part of their ongoing plans, we are now helping them to recruit a Head of Manufacturing Engineering.
The Role
Reporting into the Operations Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the day-to-day Manufacturing Engineering function, taking overall responsibility for the roadmap for Process Development, Process Validation, New Product Introduction and Advanced Manufacturing Engineering. It is expected that the incoming candidate will critically assess the Manufacturing Engineering function, and drive continuous improvements through technology, process improvement and strong leadership. The purpose of this role will be to make things better, quicker, cheaper, safer, and more efficiently. The successful candidate is seen as a potential future successor to the Operations Director.
