MD – The Role
The MD will report directly to Group Board and will lead the business on a day to day basis.
The MD will develop and implement a leading-edge business growth strategy encompassing new client and market development to maximise opportunities in existing sectors in the UK.
This is an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial individual to take the business to its next stage. Key focus will be in the growth of the top-line revenue, supported by product and market development to maintain and grow margins and possible acquisitions.
The MD will provide strong leadership and establish credibility as a business leader, to ensure execution of the current business plan and budgets, taking full responsibility of the P&L for the business unit performance.
He/she will define and implement a business strategy to significantly grow SFS/Load Bearing and Modular LSF business. The MD will also build and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and individuals with the LSF, Construction industry.
Key Requirements for the Role
Candidates will be proven business leaders with commercial vision. Proven MDs, Divisional Directors or Commercial Directors with P&L management experience likely with a strong commercial/sales background.
A good knowledge of the UK building contractor and specification market and ideally previous experience in cold formed LSF fabricating and installation. A charismatic, dynamic and pragmatic leader who clearly demonstrates an ability to empower and motivate a team.
