The Headteachers are genuinely the Headteacher of their own school and are responsible for the school and accountable for outcomes. CSET aims to provide quality education in a caring environment.

Having increased the membership of schools since inception in 2013, they have taken advantage of the opportunities being a Multi Academy Trust offers. With the imminent retirement of the Head of Finance, CSET are undergoing a re-envisioning of their finance and operations management with the aim of improving efficiency, increasing the return from commercial opportunities and organising the operations appropriately for the next stage of growth. The untapped opportunities available to them are clear and with the focus and direction of their Senior Management Team, they now have the chance to capitalise on these and build their presence and reach further.

This is a unique opportunity for you to join a successful Executive Leadership Team in a highly influential role responsible for developing financial and operational strategy and leading organisational transformation. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer of CSET and as an experienced Finance professional, you will provide strategic leadership to the Finance, HR, IT and Estates departments.

This role is ideal for you as a conscientious and values driven individual who is prepared to roll up your sleeves and actively engage in achievement of the vision.


Professional Accounting qualification and membership of recognised body

Experience and appreciation of working in an education or not for profit environment

At least 5 Years’ experience in Senior to Executive Management positions

Commercial and operational experience

Experience leading multiple teams
