Major Construction Project Director – ‘Semi Conductor Industry’ (EPC)
Salary: Base circa £150,000 + Bonus + Other Benefits

Our client provides consulting, planning, design, engineering, pre-construction, project management, maintenance and installation services to blue chip clients throughout the world involved within the semi-conductor industries, in relation to the build of high technology major scale sites. The company’s clients require state of the art high-security buildings which are 100% reliable and efficient environments. Combining the company’s experience in energy saving and lean engineering the business is able to deliver smart semi-conductor industry centre solutions, which fulfil even the highest customer standards regarding security, safety and energy consumption.

The Requirement – Project Director

This leading international EPC client company is looking to recruit a really experienced Project Director to oversee a major semi-conductor industry development project in Ireland, within commuting distance to Dublin. Ideally, the client would like the Project Director to be based full time on site in Ireland, living in country.

Experience

To be suitable for this fantastic career opportunity candidates must possess the following:

• Significant major scale construction projects leadership track records i.e. projects worth £250M + in value   
• Strong Mechanical + Electrical backgrounds (‘power + control’) – mechanical and electrical technical issues will be at the core of the project so core expertise in these areas is imperative
• Candidates’ Project Director / Leadership backgrounds could be within any of the following project areas: Data Centres, Pharmaceuticals, Laboratories, Energy, Semi-Conductor, Aviation, The Olympics or some of London’s largest schemes   
• Proven track records of internal and external reporting on major projects – experienced in walking with the designer through a project, managing a client Project Manager and a wide variety of sub-contractors
• Plenty of energy, drive and professionalism
• Excellent communication skills – clear, concise, organised and approachable
