Our client is an award-winning environmental consultancy that is fast growing and well established within the UK marketplace. The business has developed its service lines across a range of areas that entail Ecology, Environmental Impact Assessment, Habitats, Landscape and EMS.

Requirement

Due to continued growth and success, the practice is looking to recruit a Head of Ecology in the UK, to oversee their department of circa 70 full time Consultants. You could be based anywhere in the UK, as long as you have mobility and are happy to travel to company offices and client sites regularly.

Core Responsibilities

• Leading on a vast range of fascinating Ecology projects; working closely with and providing value to a number of long-term, highly respected clients
• Overseeing the Ecology Department’s P&L
• Lead the Ecology Department, overseeing development, mentoring and recruitment
• Key involvement with developing client relationships and business development

Expertise & Suitability

• Significant Ecology consultancy experience in the UK
• Notable P&L experience to date
• Track record of managing teams successfully Innovative, keen to embrace new methods of delivering Ecology surveys
• Terrestrial or Aquatic Ecology project experience
