Our client is a quality supplier of assured British food products to retailers and food service professionals across Europe. The business has a turnover in excess of £80m with realistic ambition for growth into new markets and to service new customers both in the UK and Europe.
To maximise this growth potential the business has a requirement to appoint a Sales Director to join the senior management team with the responsibility of evaluating the current routes to market and driving the strategic growth of the business.
The appointed Sales Director will be expected to take a strategic approach to evaluating the current business and assessing the key areas for growth from both existing and new customers across food service, retail and butchery, implementing the final agreed strategy through the sales team in place.
In time it is expected the sales team, under the leadership of this key appointment, will grow in number to reflect the growing requirements of a larger business.
