Overall, Purpose of the Role

The G’s main responsibility will be to manage day to day operations and the key goal is to drive profitable growth. 

To deliver on this ambition The new GM will improve the commercial acumen and sales focus, and improve financial reporting, control and discipline. Moreover, the GM will build a strong organization and senior leadership team. The GM will be supported by a team in the UK as well as by colleagues in the US and Europe. 

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Growth

The GM will improve the commercial acumen and sales focus by setting direction and proactively managing the full value chain.

Establish a Professional Organization

To support the commercial growth plan, the GM will build a capable and strong organization, focusing on.

Financial Management

With a result-oriented mindset and to support the overall financials goals and reporting requirement.

Qualifications and Skills 

  • To have a solid educational background – process information and problem solve fast. A good financial understanding is a prerequisite
  • Experience from similar roles. At least 5-10 years’ experience from various management positions. Able to proactively recognize and solve issues and capture new opportunities, while effectively managing a growing organization. A solid understanding of the entire value chain of a technology company competing internationally
  • The technical acumen and knowledge to understand the context of their products and customers and gain the insight needed to sell their products and solutions.
  • Understanding of customers’ needs to develop efficient strategies and plans and convey this to the organization, efficiently turning opportunities into profitable growth. 
  • Persistent & self-motivated with initiative. Passionate about business and know that being proactive and persistent is crucial to succeed. Recognized for the ability to take initiative and make things happen. 
  • Communication and negotiation skills. Excellent communication skills, together with negotiation and persuasion skills – easily connect with customers, employees and partners and earn their trust.
