Recent structural changes to the business has allowed many improvements to be made over a longer term and a great deal of development across the business has taken place in the recent past including logistics, sales and marketing as well as cultural change to position them for future growth.
The future success of the business however is dependent on the improved performance of the business as a whole capitalising on the good work done so far. The only way the business is now able to realise its full potential is with someone in place who can take full P&L responsibility and lead the whole business unit as Service Centre Manager.

Candidates will have held leadership positions in of comparable scale and type ideally from an engineering or operational discipline area. Of primary importance is a demonstrable, strong track record in performance management and the ability to lead managers. It is important any individual has an understanding of return on investment, stock management and commercially effective pricing. It would be beneficial, although not a pre-requisite, the successful candidate has experience from within the metals industry. Experience from within an engineering led industry would be of benefit.
The General Manager position is an exciting and challenging appointment. The role is a key one and will play an important part in the company developing and growing. This person will work collaboratively with the Regional Director and Senior Management Team to lead the business performance and continue to develop and improve its offering. The role will have full support from the senior management group to build and develop: they are open minded to adapt as necessary.
