Regional Director – Building Services Consultancy
Salary: Base salary circa £60,000 + Bonus + Benefits

The Company

Our client is a leading UK building services (Mechanical & Electrical) consultancy business. This well-established, privately owned company, is very successful and in a strong financial position. It works for clients throughout most sectors and within a wide variety of geographical areas.

The Requirement

The business has the strategic requirement to recruit an experienced building services consultant into the position of Regional Director to run and lead the Bristol operation.

Role & Responsibilities

The key accountabilities will include the following: 

Successfully lead, run grow the company’s Bristol operation  

Deliver major M&E consultancy projects in the South West on time, within budget and professionally 

Develop business, networks and high levels of customer satisfaction in the South West

Work within agreed monthly and annual budgets

Ensure standards of performance and of business conduct are maintained to the agreed levels and improved over time

Develop skill-base/capabilities of the Bristol office 

Expertise Needed

Suitable candidates for this role will have:

A notable level of Mechanical & Electrical (‘building services’) engineering consultancy experience – candidates could have either a ‘Mechanical’ or ‘Electrical’ bias but the preference would be to recruit someone with perhaps more of an ‘Mechanical’ specialism.  

Proven M&E engineering consultancy project delivery experience i.e. successful experience in leading clients and teams on major schemes

A proven track record of developing building services project work and client relationships in the South West 

There is not a pre-requisite for the Director to be chartered because what’s more important is to find the right person – candidates may or may not have C.I.B.S.E. membership or similar
