BATH RUGBY – HEAD OF PARTNERSHIPS
Founded in 1865, Bath Rugby is one of the oldest rugby union clubs in existence. Located in the heart of the World Heritage City of Bath, it is a club steeped in heritage, with an ambitious vision of the future.
Competing at the highest level both in English and European competitions means that the club has an extensive fan base and a number of high-profile corporate partnerships.
A Head of Partnerships is now sought to deliver sponsors’ contracted rights, management of relationships and to have overall responsibility for day-to-day contact. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, this appointment will be pivotal in the design and implementation of plans to deliver value to the Club’s marketing strategy, while demonstrating tangible business value to the sponsor.
This role will also be responsible for sourcing new partners as well as identifying new commercial opportunities with which to involve existing partners and new sponsors, driving increased value for the Club.
- Five years’ sports industry experience (brand, rights holder, agency), ideally within sponsorship
- Poven ability to build relationships, both internally and externally
- Strong organisational skills
- Energetic, creative and solutions-oriented
