Salary: Basic salary up to £165,000 + benefits

General Manager – Europe

Our client is a global technology company servicing the marketing and advertising industry. They employ over 500 people across 30 countries worldwide.  

They are looking to strengthen the executive leadership team with a General Manager for Europe, who will have primary responsibility for planning and implementing sales strategy and driving activity to generate and grow market share.

Responsibilities include:

Leading the development and implementation of business strategy, including product mix and pricing, business development, revenue profitability, pipeline management and ensuring new products and services are taken to market effectively
Regional revenue target - Core customer strategy development and implementation, revenue growth and retention
Development, delivery and commentary of financial and sales reporting for the region

Experience in a strategic environment, including business development, relationship management, operational excellence and financial management
Experience in and an understanding of the advertising industry
Knowledge of financial and budgetary processes
Truly service-oriented with the willingness to go the extra mile to deliver initiatives aiming continuous improvement and client satisfaction
Adept at working with and in a team environment, experience working with remote and international teams
Self-motivated, organised and analytical, with strong planning, multitasking, prioritization and monitoring skills
Ability to manage external and internal escalations and negotiate resolution
Proven track of technology consulting and/or technology management experience
Demonstrated record of finding solutions to organisational challenges and developing strategies to improve processes and gain efficiencies
Experience of new business process including identifying, researching and converting leads
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in finance, marketing, business management or any business-related fields
Strong commitment to customer experience and embrace consultative solution selling
Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation and relationship building skills
Excellent presentation skills
Self-motivation and drive - confidence to work on own initiative and with limited supervision
Able to negotiate and influence effectively at all levels
Proven track record of exceptional leadership skills
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written English
