International Product Manager
Salary: Salary up to £70,000 + Benefits inc relocation assistance
Our client is a world leader in the field of neuroscience with an international reputation within the clinical and academic fields. They manufacture and supply state-of-the-art clinical and research instruments which allow users to assess, protect and improve the function of the nervous system in a variety of clinical and research situations.
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Product Manager to join the team, the ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role with a focus on medical devices.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Continuously monitor market needs and requirements, taking into account future technology / developments, competitor products / services and the changing requirements of regulatory bodies.
Produce and own the Product Business Plan.
Strategically manage and own the product / product portfolio from conception to product withdrawal.
Manage the product creation process by chairing multi disciplinary business teams.
Provide sales support material i.e. develop and produce training material (Audio visual presentations, product ordering procedures, technical data sheets, handbooks etc.)
Plan, organise and participate in product release presentations - both internal and external to the company.
Monitor and control product development budgets.
Produce technology Road Maps for the product / product portfolio.
Develop and maintain pricing policies for the product.
Develop and monitor critical success factors for the product in line with the product business plan.
Plan and manage the product release.
Develop the after sales support policy for the product - Service philosophy, Spares listing, recommended test equipment, maintenance programmes etc.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
Considerable experience as a Product Manager or similar role with focus on medical devices.
Experience of selling and marketing into the hospital and Private Sector area.
Experience of International marketing.
Experience of interacting with patient groups.
Educated to a degree level or equivalent, ideally in business.
A candidate who has been marketing internationally for 10 years but has no degree will also be considered.
Willing to relocate
Able to travel a minimum of 50% of the time including weekends.
Be confident, smart in appearance, able absorb complex information and articulate this information to prospective customers in a clear and precise manner.
