Marketing & Sales Director

Salary: Circa £90K Base + Benefits

Our client is an international qualifying and membership body for a leading chartered profession. This well respected Institute has an increasingly commercial focus and seeks to appoint a dynamic Marketing & Sales Director at a time of exciting transformation and growth. You will become a key part of the Institute's senior management team, reporting directly to the Chief Executive.

Role & Responsibilities

The core role and responsibilities will include:

- Working closely with the Chief Executive to develop overall public awareness of this chartered profession as being central to the effective operation of global business

- Present and promote values of the Institute and its qualifications to employers plus the public service - furthering collaboration with Universities, Schools and the development of regional networks

- Driving forwards the growth of the Institute's membership and student body, ensuring students recognise the demand for the skills, value of the qualifications and wide variety of rewarding career opportunities

- Leadership, management and development of the marketing, advertising and sponsorship sales functions - supporting the Institute and its publishing, training, recruitment, board evaluation and meeting room businesses

Suitable candidates for this exciting role will possess the following:

- Significant commercial marketing and/or sales experience in senior roles

- Proven and demonstrable management and leadership experience

- Ideally, direct experience of building new business and sales functions
If candidates have experience and knowledge of previously working within a membership organisation it could be an advantage.
