Chief Commercial Officer
Salary: Executive package with equity
Our client is a UK based, technology Company, which designs, develops and formulates specialty materials to improve the performance of existing consumer products within the fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) and other industrial markets.
The Company’s technologies are also used in personal care, household products, coatings & adhesives product areas.
The vision for our client is to build a high growth, high quality margin, specialty materials business based on proprietary material technology. The Company’s technology has broad application.
The business aims to generate growing high quality revenue streams by either licensing its proprietary technologies or through the supply of proprietary products using an outsourced manufacturing model. Current target markets are Household Products, Personal Care and Food.
The CCO will report to the CEO. This is an executive-level position responsible for the commercial strategy and development of the business through marketing, sales, product development and customer service activities to drive business growth and market share. The CCO will take ownership of the customer and the customer interface making sure that all functions of the organization are aligned to meet its strategic commercial objectives.
A strong commercial background involving marketing, direct sales, sales and channel management, contract negotiation (experience of licensing is a bonus), development of pricing strategies, key account management
A history of growing sales, margin and market share
Strong commercial background in supplying ingredients into our Client's target markets being personal care, consumer healthcare, FMCG and industrial markets
Established global network in target markets
Demonstrated ability to successfully launch new products and build profitable income streams
Ability to identify new product opportunities and work with customers to position our Client as their development partner of choice
A team player able to work well with the technical team to prioritise projects and accelerate time to market for new products
A technical background in materials, ingredients or chemicals an advantage
Willingness and ability to travel internationally
