Assistant Director of Care and Support Services

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 plus benefits package

A well established registered charity within the group, Arch has developed into a focused and highly successful provider of services to vulnerable people within the region.

Arch connects with people at difficult times in their lives, providing a range of accommodation and support services in Staffordshire and South Cheshire. Arch works with some of the most vulnerable people in society, including victims and survivors of domestic violence, young people leaving care, refugees, people with mental health needs and people struggling with alcohol and drug dependency. They support customers to increase their wellbeing, life-skills, employability and independence, helping them develop their aspirations and take up opportunities that lead to more productive, stable lives.

Having undertaken an organisational review, the Group is looking to strengthen the delivery of care services and have created an exciting and new opportunity to join Arch as Assistant Director to lead their Care and Support Services and teams.

As an ideal candidate you will have a demonstrable track record working at senior level developing and delivering customer support services in the voluntary/not-for-profit /health and social care sectors. It is important you can bring strong leadership and vision to Arch with the ability to set direction and deliver effective long term business plans for quality improvement, development and growth.

You will be able to demonstrate:

• Experience and comprehensive knowledge of the housing, care and support sector
• A values based approach to leadership able to develop a commercially robust business
• A track record of directing large teams with strong evidence of supporting and developing others to achieve high levels of performance
• Design, delivery and continuous improvement of innovative, high quality support services for customers in this sector
• Commercial acumen, achieving value for money for the business
• Understanding of health and social care, funding and the legal and regulatory environment
