Salary: Up to £45,000 + car + benefits
Our client is a well respected provider of a wide range of design, manufacturing, welding and laser cutting, assembly, testing and site services using stainless steel, carbon steel and complex alloys. They operate across a diverse range of markets including Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Marine, Process, Water and more.
Due to continued expansion, the business has a requirement for a Sales Engineer to manage a number of existing key accounts with responsibility for developing further business opportunities within the territory. They have ambitious growth plans set out for the next 5 years and this new appointment will significantly contribute to this achievement.
Reporting directly to the Business Development Director and working very closely with the bid and estimating teams, you will liaise with suppliers, sub-contractors, external agencies and regulatory bodies.
Full responsibilities of the role are:
- Developing new and existing customer relationships
- Identify new markets, develop plans and secure contracts
- Identifying key client targets, develop plans and secure contracts
- Provide support to project teams securing and developing existing and new work
- Maintaining the customer relationship database
- Provide winning work reports
The ideal candidate will be expected to have a successful track record of developing client relationships and securing contracts in an engineering environment.
