Senior Sales Manager

Salary: £50k OTE £76k + benefits

Our client leads the way in customer management (both offline and digital), by helping clients acquire, develop and retain customers through effective customer strategy planning, optimising marketing campaigns, customer insight, underpinned by high quality consumer and market data and leading edge technology.

Clients are typically household names and include most financial services providers, many of the UK's leading retailers, automotive manufacturers, advertising and marketing agencies as well as many public sector organisations.

The role of the Senior Sales Consultant is to develop business with primarily with cold prospects. The consultant will typically be working with senior level contacts to understand their business needs and come up with solutions.

The ideal candidate:

- The ideal candidate will be of graduate calibre.

- Considerable sales experience ideally working for another data/marketing service provider. Digital sales experience is highly desirable.

- Must be able to demonstrate a recent solid track record in new business development, as we want to open doors to new clients and new markets. We are not seeking an account manager.

- Possess a professional attitude, be entrepreneurial, innovative and creative.

- Drive to succeed.

- Confidence and good relationship building skills are a must.

- Must have the ability to absorb a lot of information and think laterally as we have a range of products and services that we can offer our clients as potential business solutions.

- Accountability and responsibility are very important from early on within a career at our client.

- Excellent presentation and communication skills (both verbal and written) are a must.
