Salary: c£80,000 package
Our client is the UK subsidiary of an international, market leading, mechanical and electrical technology solutions group. Our client's products are used within a wide variety of industries that includes; food, beverages, materials handling, construction, textiles and airports. The Group has a rich heritage and a truly international reputation.
The UK Managing Director will have total strategic and operational responsibility for managing and developing the UK subsidiary.
With full P&L responsibility the new MD will further develop the business' strategic plans with the objective of meeting agreed turnover and profitability targets.
This exciting new appointment will lead a very capable team in identifying opportunities for growth through developing new projects, new products and new markets.
Candidates will have had a demonstrable track record of success in senior management positions within the industrial component marketplace. Of particular interest is experience gained through sales and sales management roles. It is a pre-requisite that candidates have a proven experience of selling products to the OEM sectors.
To succeed in this role candidates will have well developed leadership and commercial skills and have high levels of credibility and gravitas. The role will require an ability to think strategically as well as highly developed customer development skills.
