Recruitment and Sales Training Manager
Salary: Suggested band (which may change based upon experience): £45,000 - £50,000 + car + bonus + benefits

Our client is a market-leading manufacturer of premium home furnishings – supplying directly to homes across the UK.

To help the business continue its double-digit annual growth it wishes to appoint a Recruitment & Sales Training Manager. In this position you will be responsible for the recruitment and training of high calibre sales agents throughout Great Britain.

You will work to ensure the business has a full complement of agents to handle the quantity of leads delivered by Head Office marketing and to ensure their teams have the selling and product knowledge skills necessary to achieve their short and long-term sales objectives.

The role will be based out of the Head Office in Bristol, with significant travel to meet with colleagues across the country to deliver individual and group training programmes.

Responsibilities:

• Utilising a variety of targeted media channels to identify, interview and select candidates for the position of self-employed, commission remunerated, sales agents for designated geographic areas.
• Identify, develop, and deliver new sales and product training content to both new and current sales agents and customer-facing Head Office staff.
• Produce written and regularly updated product sales training manuals and training modules.
• Conduct sales and product training on a one-to-one and group basis ensuring the training is tailored to the specific needs of the trainee(s).
• Deliver these programmes in a real classroom setting and also via virtual electronic sessions.

What skills are required?

• The ability to translate a product’s relevant technical and design features into effective sales propositions to be communicated to customers in face to face in-home sales presentations.
• Specific experience of recruitment and or sales training in a previous role.
