The company has significant future business growth plans. They have decided to appoint an Operations Director to assist with the day-to-day running of their company. They are looking for a highly capable individual who is on an upward career trajectory. OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Our client is looking for an ambitious Operations Director to join their growing Business Services Group. You will become one of the senior leadership team within the business and possess the experience and ability to inculcate a healthy high performance work culture across the organisation. You will be a natural leader and innovator on an obvious upward career trajectory.
This role would suit a high-energy ambitious leader, formally trained in modern management practices, looking to grow their career with a fast-growing company, and willing to commit to whatever it takes to assist in the company's overall growth plans, gaining equity of a large growing business group in return.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Candidates will have a demonstrable track record of success in Senior Operational Management in the provision of services ideally in the E-commerce, high volume, transactional business sector.
Candidates will also be considered who can transfer skills from other sectors. Experience will have been gained in businesses of comparable or larger size and scale. Either in an SME environment or in a Division of a larger business. They will have a hands-on approach, be agile and be prepared to ‘roll their sleeves up’ when necessary.
Experience will have been gained in the successful management of high-quality teams ideally in a high-growth business.
This appointment will enjoy significant levels of autonomy and responsibility. The successful appointee will lead the operational functions in the business with the support and backing of the senior management team. He/she will also be making a significant contribution at a strategic executive level.
