Head of Commercial (Sales and Business Development)

An opportunity for a Head of Commercial has arisen to join a very experienced and ambitious team to lead the successful commercialisation of the business. The successful candidate will lead the sales and commercialisation of the technology and services to UK hospitals and in time internationally. 

The Head of Commercial is a key and exciting executive opportunity. The role will be responsible for developing and implementing the Company’s commercial, sales and marketing strategy.

He/she will identify and prioritise new business sales opportunities with new customers as well as possible channels, partners and new markets. This role will also play a fundamental part in developing future sales growth and providing vision, direction and leadership for the developing sales team and channel partners.

The role will report to the CEO and Board.


You will need to demonstrate experience of the following:

Proven leadership and hands-on track record of selling and marketing high value medical devices/equipment products or services to the NHS/private healthcare sectors
Proven track record for business development
Substantial professional healthcare and in particular hospital procurement networks
International healthcare market experience would be advantageous as would experience of sales distribution channels
