Head of Quality

Our client is a well established brand within the UK manufacturing market based on the south coast. With a global presence in its chosen markets, product innovation is at the core of its ongoing success and the achievement and maintenance of the highest manufacturing standards is critical.



The role will take responsibility for all aspects of Quality Management and will report directly to the Chief Executive within the senior management team. Initially, it is expected that there will be a full audit of the existing systems and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement and how to ensure that these are embedded in future processes.



You will have had experience of implementing and maintaining quality management systems in a manufacturing environment. In addition, the manufactured products will have had a significant engineering component and this could be electrical, electronic or mechanical. Setting up and managing a customer complaints process and a Quality Board will have been key elements of establishing a company wide commitment to quality. In addition to this experience you will have the attitude and aptitude necessary to lead change at a strategic level within an established business where the senior management team is dynamic, ambitious and open to ideas that will improve the business.
