Exciting opportunity to become the Technical Product Manager for a global industry leader in total metering solutions for electricity, gas, heat/cold and water for energy measurement solutions for utilities.

The purpose of this role is to manage a portfolio of metering products and be responsible for profitability and market share. Responsible for ensuring the development and implementation of the metering product portfolio and strategy.

The Product Manager will be instrumental in ensuring the global competitiveness of the product portfolio management, benchmarking, continuous cost improvement, innovation and time to market. You will have several years experience as a product manager, experience in a customer facing position and a good understanding of technical, business and customer priorities. Ideally in mobile devices, communications technology, broadband or defence industry experience.

You will be degree qualified or equivalent in engineering and/or management (preference is electronics or other computer degree)

Some international travel will be required.

This is a vital role for the business and requires someone with strong commercial acumen.
