Our client is a successful UK multi-disciplinary consultancy business that needs to recruit an experienced full time environmental consultant to lead the Environment team. Much of the company's work is in the defence sectors but they are interested in growing and developing other business streams so there is a fantastic opportunity. for the right person.


Role & Responsibilities:

Line management of the environmental management team. 20% of the role is management orientated.

Team Leadership of the environment business.

Technical management of environmental consultancy projects.

Grow the environmental management business in size plus revenue.

80% of the role is business development and technical advisory i.e. with customers and meeting prospective customers to win and deliver new work.

From a technical perspective you are likely to get heavily involved with environmental management systems and looking at the life cycle of products, assessing environmental risk and impact. You will assess products and equipment, looking at for example constraints of systems and providing guidance on the environmental impacts.


Experience Requirements:

10 years + post graduation environmental consultancy experience - candidates must be qualified environmental consultants with significant UK experience.

Experience with environmental risk assessment, EIA and life cycle assessment experience.

Must have strong understanding of UK environmental legislation “legislation assessment + audit�.

Consultants are likely to be the right fit if they have experience in; environmental risk & assessment, M&A and environmental auditing.
