| Description: | Our client is the UK operation of an international market leader in industrial OEM services. Our client's diverse range of services are focused on helping customers increase productivity, reduce costs and improve product quality. Our client serves just about every industry you can imagine - aviation, automotive, chemical, electric power generation, glass, paper, petroleum, primary metals, plastic, printing, textiles, and even the food industry. The Sales Manager is responsible for managing a sales team, the overall the sales and marketing activity and achieving the agrees sales budgets. This key appointment will involve sales visits, forecasting, formulating business and sales plans, customer liaison, price discussions, quotations and all matters relating to representing the best interests of our customers. He/she will also be responsible for finding and developing new customers and markets, qualifying potential prospects and preparing and delivering marketing presentations. Candidates will have a degree level qualification in Engineering and have significant experience in a sales and sales management in the industrial OEM sectors. A demonstrable successful track record of success will be important as is the ability to work within a team culture. Candidates will be self starters, have the ability to motivate others, be ambitious and commercially astute. There will be a requirement to travel and work away from home as necessary.
