To further develop high levels of customer service and cost-effective delivery, an Operations Director is to be appointed.

Eduserv is an IT services organisation dedicated to developing effective technology solutions to meet the needs of major government departments and agencies. Eduserv has grown to over 100 staff and sales of £17M and clients have increasingly complex requirements. To further develop high levels of customer service and cost-effective delivery, an Operations Director is to be appointed.

Previous experience of Eduserv's precise technology is not critical but a deep understanding and extensive management experience of hosted-service delivery and IT infrastructure management will be essential to effectively support the growing number of public sector clients. Eduserv has its own data centre and national network thus enabling the delivery of sophisticated services and hence experience gained in an ISP environment would be desirable. Exposure to ITIL and Prince2 would also be a distinct advantage.

Thereafter, experience of managing the following technologies would be advantageous:

Windows, Linux

Microsoft SQL Server

HP

Sitecore.
