The company has an important requirement to hire an experienced naval nuclear engineering consultant.

Role & Responsibilities

The role will include a wide range of responsibilities that include:

Overseeing technical naval nuclear work and assisting in the delivery of projects

Line management of engineers and various members of staff on live naval related nuclear projects in your given technical area

Assistance with bids and tenders, in terms of the necessary preparation and presentations

Plenty of client relationship building, looking after current project work and looking to extend the life cycle of activity where appropriate

You will consult on issues both externally and internally


Skills & Experience

To be suitable for this role you will possess the following:

Extensive post graduation engineering consulting experience from the naval nuclear market (Must have naval nuclear experience)

Technically excellent, in terms of your grasp of various areas of expertise e.g. systems, risk or analysis engineering

The ability to re-program yourself into addressing a wide range of engineering issues that will be encountered when delivering projects for clients

Commercial experience and a proven track record of developing work with clients and new businesses in the naval nuclear field
