Our client's global strategy is focused around three core markets: Construction Products, Innovative Materials and Building Distribution.

The recruiting division within the group is an international manufacturing business supplying high volume international OEMs in various markets including automotive, leisure and industrial.

This is a newly created and strategic appointment reporting directly to the MD.

The Global Marketing Director will have overall responsibility for the worldwide marketing Strategy for the Division. He/she will develop strategic and operational marketing plans to improve top line sales and profitability on a global basis.

There will be a need to undertake a top level marketing requirement analysis and devise/implement a strategic marketing plan

There will be a need to develop, train, lead and inspire a marketing team following a period of frequent organizational change as well as manage and interact with people in remote locations. Candidates will have a minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible work experience including, product application, marketing, sales and/or general management with an industrial company, ideally manufacturing organizations that focus in custom or highly engineered high volume components

Also important will be

- A proven record of growing a business through new product introduction, management and marketing

- Extensive experience managing a team of professional level staff, including mentoring and developing subordinates

- Strong business leadership and the ability to influence decision makers both internally and externally
