Our client is a well respected and successful South West mixed-use developer. Reporting to the Managing Director the specialist "prestige" residential homes business unit is seeking an experienced individual to strategically and tactically lead all production activities within the South West region. This an opportunity for an individual to shape the future of this expanding business.

The overall objective of this position will be to successfully manage and oversee all construction activities within the region. The successful candidate will achieve this by ensuring that all build projects are completed in line with the agreed Health & Safety, Financial , Quality and time specific targets.

Responsibilities will fall broadly into two areas

Strategic
To work with the board and senior management team to input on all strategic construction related matters - on potential and planned future development projects.
To proactively select, monitor and manage all subcontract relationships with suppliers within the region.

Operational
To successfully and closely manage a sub contracted teams of construction professionals

Profile
An individual with significant senior construction management experience in residential house building. He/she will have project and people management skills within multi-site construction programmes involving numerous sub-contractor relationships.
