Novo Executive Search and Selection was retained by the business to recruit an experienced Corporate Strategy Manager to work closely with the Head of Strategy & Planning within the Energy Branch Division. We conducted a comprehensive search of relevant London FTSE 100 target organisations that identified a thorough list of individuals who had long term strategic planning expertise. In parallel to this work we ran an online executive advertising campaign. The combination of approaches ensured a robust and detailed piece of research was delivered, which resulted in a strong shortlist and a successful appointment.
Energy Power Resources - A challenging European assignment
Energy Power Resources (EPRL) is one of the leading renewable energy providers in the UK.
With the growth of its European windfarm portfolio, language was increasingly becoming a barrier to managing the contractors, so EPRL asked Novo Executive Search and Selection to find a tri-lingual Project Manager, based in France or Germany to act as the main interface between Macquarie, EPRL and the contractor.
With the support of Novo Executive Search and Selection, the appropriate recruitment methodology was selected and a strong candidate was appointed. Recruiting this candidate on a local French contract meant EPRL needed to set up a French entity to employ this local individual operating under French employment law. The added foresight and commitment from the CEO to invest in this way meant that they were able to secure this quality candidate to strengthen their team.
