The Oil and Gas industry is arguably one of the most critical industries of the global economy. The challenges facing today’s World are many, but none more important than the provision of Oil and Gas. Above all the business, technological, social and political constraints in the industry is the demand for people.
The industry is working hard to embrace change and continues to develop leading edge technologies in the search for and extraction of hydrocarbon resources. With an ever increasing demand from the developing economies of huge consumers such as India and China, and increased awareness on environmental issues, the Oil and Gas sector faces unprecedented scrutiny and challenge – not least in its ability to resource.
Renewables
Renewables is a new high-growth sector. Whilst there are some established players, it is a sector largely dominated by start-ups, new entrants and new technologies. It is also a field where there are relatively few experienced practitioners and therefore lateral thinking is required in order to bring new talent in to the sector with transferable skills from other related sectors.
With the reduction of carbon emissions now established as a common theme, our work in this sector covers a number of areas including energy conservation, energy/carbon trading, biofuels production and various power generation technologies including wind, wave, biomass, fuel cells and nuclear.
